Swallowing / Speech Disorders - Through the use of flexible instruments, examination of the larynx (voice box) and pharynx (swallowing tube) can be performed in our office with a topical anesthetic. In both our Port St. Luice and Okeechobee offices, simultaneous video imaging allows the patient and family the opportunity to see these areas being examined.This technique allows us to diagnose problems of the larynx, including hoarseness swallowing.
